Crowns
- Crowns cover the entire tooth in order to restore weak, broken or decayed teeth.
- Crowns can be made of many different materials including metal, porcelain-fused-to-metal (PFM), and all ceramic or porcelain crowns.
- Crowns take 2 appointments to complete:
- First appointment: the dentist will complete the tooth preparation, take an impression and place a temporary crown.
- Second appointment: The dentist will remove the temporary crown, ensure the definitive crown, which is made by our lab, fits well before it is cemented or bonded permanently to the tooth.
- Temporary Crown Instructions
